It is an arthropod because is has jointed legs, hard exoskeleton, and a segmented body. Arthropods have bilateral symmetry. Arthropods were the first land animals.

1st blog post
The part I found interesting about this animal was the inc sac and the tenticles because you can write with the inc and the squid can stick on anything.
